Blessed Event!

We mated Ella with McCoy (of Emma) in Sept. and on Sat November  28 she had four beautiful babies.

 McCoy has been in the Peterson family since birth and not only has beautiful red coat, but displays charm and advanced intelligence.

In this picture, McCoy was bathed and clipped but his collar had not been put back on, so he went in search of it and presented it to be reattached.

We have four babies. Two black, two red.  The females are black and red and the males are black and red.  They will be ready for new homes The 25th of January 2016

Our Newest Lady: May we present Ella

We found Ella last Feb 2015, because Emma is too old and Lucy has been unable to produce litters for us.  It was a big change to broaden our perspective to include black in our color spectrum.  But the minute we met Ella, our hearts were hers.  She is playful, caring, nurturing, cuddly. Even though she isn't red, she had all the personality we immediately adored in Emma.  The only difference is that Emma was an athletic, superdog, confident that she could handle any and all situations.  And Ella is all dignified princess.  She is doe-like in stature and truly a Black Beauty
